Day 1 — Arrive in Jaipur, the Pink City
Arriving from: Most international travelers fly into Delhi (DEL) and then take a 45-minute connecting flight to Jaipur (JAI). Alternatively, the Delhi–Jaipur drive is 5 hours through the expressway — comfortable in a private vehicle.
Your driver and guide will meet you at Jaipur airport with a nameplate. After a smooth check-in at your heritage hotel, ease into Rajasthan gently.
Afternoon: Stroll through the walled city. Visit Jantar Mantar — an 18th-century astronomical observatory that's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The massive sundials and celestial instruments are unlike anything you've seen. Then walk through the City Palace, still home to the royal family of Jaipur, with its stunning courtyards, textile galleries, and royal artifacts.
Evening: Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar come alive at dusk — jewelry, textiles, blue pottery, and the smell of street food. Don't miss trying dal baati churma, Rajasthan's iconic dish.

Day 3 — Jaipur to Pushkar (3.5 Hours)
Pushkar is unlike anywhere else in India. A small holy town built around a sacred lake, it's simultaneously one of India's most important Hindu pilgrimage sites and one of its most international destinations — the streets are full of sadhus, pilgrims, and travelers from around the world.
En route: Stop at Abhaneri Step Well (Chand Baori) — one of the deepest and most beautiful step wells in the world, with 3,500 steps descending 13 stories. It was used as a filming location for The Dark Knight Rises and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Afternoon in Pushkar: Walk the 52 bathing ghats around Pushkar Lake, visit the world's only Brahma Temple (Hindu god of creation — extraordinarily rare), and explore the bazaar's mix of silver jewelry, tie-dye fabrics, and organic cafés.

Walk the narrow lanes inside the fort, browse the tiny shops, and watch daily life unfold in a medieval setting.
